Poetry & Humanism: Majid Naficy

Majid Naficy is an accomplished writer and poet. During the 1970s, he became politically active against the Shah’s regime. Naficy stopped writing poetry for eight years, until the execution of his wife, Ezzat, by the Islamic Republic. He writes, “Now I know how those cavemen felt when they drew these bulls on cave walls.
